World Wide Web

Upon reading some of the articles, I believe that the World Wide Web will continue to increase because each year there are new devices and more and more people buy them. The Cloud is a storage devices that allows you to save and downloads items needed, it store the data for just like a memory card for all Apple devices.Cloud is also another name for the internet because different services such as servers, and applications are delivered to another computer and device through the internet.
One step that we are taking into creating a bigger web is that we are always buying new devices and the CEO's are coming out with more advanced devices such as computers or cellphones. the future looks like it will be more controlled by machines than humans, nowadays we got machines even creating cars for us, so imagine what the future will bring. Zuckerberg told Wall Street analysis "Facebook will take on Google directly for dominance of the search engine" this could be a disaster because Facebook is mainly a social network not something we can search things or even use maps. Zuckerberg said that Facebook has a bigger index, there working on graphing such as maps. Than he said that Facebook "more than the index in any web search engine" so looks pretty promising but we will have to get use to it if it does happen because than there will be a huge competition of who will have more users between Facebook and Google, the Web will have us in controller in the future.

Networks and Communication

The main types of communications we use nowadays is mainly telephones and ways to get other people into contact in a fast way, the best way to communicate with professors, job employees is email because it is more business format. Texting is best used for communicating with friends because you  can joke around and not be seriously. From my perspective Skype would be mainly used for long distance communication with video chat because it is usually free and free of choice. IM is mainly for business just like Email, because it is more formal and shows more importance than texting. Yahoo has a long-tern search and advertising contracts with Microsoft's bing, which provides Yahoo's organic search results and related search advertising, Microsoft also powers the international version of Yahoo. The one year contract will expire this March, and Yahoo might not have anything to replace, and Yahoo is looking to start their own search engine.
